Miss Shelby Bensinger and Miss Ashley Taravella are so excited to offer a 4-day Progressing Ballet Technique Intensive  July 19th-22st!  PBT is “...an innovative body-conditioning and strengthening program developed by Marie Walton-Mahon for students to understand the depth of training muscle memory in achieving their personal best. One of the important elements used in the PBT method is muscle memory which helps to improve students' understanding of core stability, weight placement and alignment.” LEARN MORE ABOUT PBT HERE

Miss Shelby and Miss Ashley are both certified PBT Teachers. During the intensive, students will work to improve understanding of their bodies, strengthen important muscles, and learn how to properly execute movement. Dancers will participate in a blended PBT and Classical Ballet class each day. This intensive is open to all Pre-Professional company members, Sparks, Ignite, and outside advanced dancers, ages 8 and up. Students will be divided into two groups by age, and have the opportunity to work with both Miss Shelby and Miss Ashley.

The intensive will culminate with a showing/recording on the last day, where students will be able to share what they’ve learned about dance making and the choreographic process.  This event is perfect for any dancer looking to discover and take ownership of their own creative voice.  Register here today, as spots are limited!
