BUNS FOR A CAUSE
A charitable way to get your dancer stage-ready without the stress!
We can’t believe it’s already time for recital! We know how stressful getting your dancer ready for stage can be. Performance hair and makeup require some special skills and a lot of patience. That’s why we are excited to offer our families “Buns For A Cause!”
Our skilled and friendly Senior Company Dancers are excited to donate their time to do your dancer’s hair and make-up, with all proceeds benefiting Covenant House.
This service is available at our Friday and Saturday Recitals, and will take place at the John Armstrong Performing Arts Center.
YOU ARE ASKED TO PROVIDE YOUR OWN SUPPLIES, INCLUDING:

Make-up (all applicators needed)
-
hair brush/comb,
-
hair spray and gel
-
20 (or more depending on dancers hair length/texture) bobby pins
-
2 hair ties
-
a hairnet that matches your dancer’s hair color.
For a reasonable donation of $10 per session your dancer will not only get their hair and make-up done by our experienced company members, but you will also be benefiting Covenant House, a charity that works to “transform and save the lives of more than a million homeless, runaway and trafficked young people.
Covenant House offers housing and support services to young people in need – reaching 80,000 boys and girls every year.” (read more here www.covenanthouse.org).
