Bodyfit is a low impact fitness class that incorporates center floor, Pilates mat and Barre exercises. You can expect to build body awareness, understanding of your individual postural alignment and how to access deep muscles, develop better balance, coordination, control, strength, flexibility to promote healthy joints and everyday living.
No experience necessary, but must be 18+ to participate.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Jenny Meeks has been on staff as a company and recreational instructor since 2003; working with all ages, levels and styles. Aside from teaching dance at the studio and an arts high school for the past eight years, she has continuously pursued her passion in health and fitness. In 2012 she began her Stott pilates training and became a licensed Zumba Instructor. She completed her Barre Guild certification of the Lotte Berk Barre Method and Pedagogy in 2019. She began the ITT Pilates Method (Integrated Teacher Training) in September of 2019 and has since completed her Mat certification in December. She has just finished the Madeline Black Immersive online training series in August 2020 and will complete her ITT Apparatus certification in Fall 2020. She is very passionate about informing, restoring and strengthening the body to be your best you!
Classes are offered in 6 week sessions at $75 per session. REGISTER ONLINE and email the studio (email@example.com), if you plan to take on zoom. Session 2 starts: Nov 2nd-December 14th
Active wear, barefoot, socks/sticky socks or clean tennis shoes
Mats and small props (exercise balls, therabands, yoga straps, yoga blocks) are available at the studio. All equipment, barres and floors will be wiped down after each use. You are also welcome to bring your own mat and small props each week.
SUGGESTED AT HOME KIT
yoga block, yoga belt/strap, theraband (long and/or looped), magic circle, small weights, gertie ball. Can be purchased on Amazon.com, Target, Walmart, Meijer, and five below.
At home substitutions: text book (block), towel (yoga belt/strap), tights/nylons (theraband/magical circle), playground/dodge/kickball (gertie ball), chair (barre), water bottles/canned goods (weights)
